We realize that you have purchasing options, including eBay and other websites. By choosing our items you are backed by our 30+ years of museum experience in the marine antique field. You are assured of quality, authenticity and value without risk of purchasing from an unknowledgeable or disreputable seller.
We have striven to be as thorough and precise in our descriptions
as possible. When known, we have provided names, attribution,
background, history, provenance, etc. However, if you still need to
speak with us directly concerning a particular item you wish to

We do not maintain posted store hours. However we are usually
available weekday afternoons, Pacific time, and on Saturdays; other
times by chance or appointment. Due to the large number of inquiries
we receive, we are unable to answer e-mails or phone messages
immediately.
ORDERING
1. PRICES. No buyer's premium! The price shown IS
our BEST "DEALER" PRICE and represents a discount of 10 - 50%
below retail. As such, we are unable to provide additional
"discounts" or accept lower offers. The price of each item is
indicated by the whole number in
following its description. All prices are in U.S. dollars. Where
shown
indicates "Price On Request" for serious buyers. Click and follow the
prompts. We do not quote P.O.R. prices over the phone. Our catalog is
for the benefit of our customers, not for curious surfers seeking a
price guide.
2. TO ORDER AN ITEM. Notify us immediately of the item(s)
you wish to purchase. Please specify the item catalog number and

Available items will be placed on
for 5 working days pending receipt of PAYMENT IN FULL. All items are
sold on a first come first served basis. In the event of duplicate
orders the earliest postmark or earliest time we receive a message
shall take precedence. Items marked
are actually SOLD and are no longer available. The listing remains
posted for 30 days after the sale. As a courtesy our customers, the

3. TO PAY FOR AN ITEM. Payment may be made by PERSONAL
CHECK, MONEY ORDER, BANK CHECK, BANK WIRE or

If you wish to pay by credit card, please do so by telephone or FAX
only. For our customers' safety we have chosen not to
offer a so-called "secure" on-line credit card system because more
and more these days, such systems are being compromised. Do not
send credit card details via e-mail.
4. SHIPPING. Your name, street address (NOT a P.O. Box) and
telephone number are required for shipping. Most items under
25 pounds UPS dimensional weight are priced F.O.B. San Diego, meaning
we pack for you FREE! UPS is the carrier. Items marked
are delicate, oversize or both and require special packing. A varitey
of shipping options are available to you.
5. TAX. Sales tax applies to California residents only. Add 8% state tax computed on the net purchase price. Shipping, insurance and labor are not taxable.
